Hojai: In a rare and refreshing appearance, Hojai MLA Shiladitya Dev stepped away from the political spotlight to take on the role of Lord Krishna in a traditional Bhaona performance.
Dev played Lord Krishna in the Uday Shankar Bhaona held at the Namghar in Nath Gaon, Hojai. Dressed in traditional attire and Krishna's distinctive costume, the MLA's performance added a special touch to the religious and cultural event. A large number of people gathered at the Namghar to witness his performance.
His participation in Assam's traditional Bhaona and religious-cultural heritage, despite his busy political schedule, has drawn attention. District Commissioner Sanjay Dutta attended the event as the chief guest.
