New Delhi, November 5: Union Minister Jitendra Singh has alleged that Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and co-founder Ashutosh Ranka received financial support from foreign sources, claiming that Dipke received funds from donors based in the United States while Ranka received assistance from Pakistani politicians and other individuals.

According to a report published on November 4, Singh alleged that the money was being used to run anti-government campaigns in India and spread what he described as misleading narratives among the public.

The Union Minister claimed that foreign organisations, anti-India NGOs and individuals allegedly linked to the “deep state” were working together to create narratives against India's interests. He also raised questions about the funding sources of certain leaders and activists who claim to represent public opinion.

Singh defended the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), describing it as an important mechanism to regulate the flow of foreign funds. He said Dipke and Ranka should disclose the sources of funding for their campaigns and explain how they raise money.

The minister also targeted the Congress, alleging that the party was spreading misinformation about the electoral process and making claims of “vote theft” to protect the political image of its leaders.
