Himanta Biswa Sarma targeted Rahul Gandhi, saying the Congress leader wanted to create a “Pappu model” in the country, while his side wanted a “Ram model”.
Sarma said the Ram temple had been built and asked whether Gandhi had visited it. He said Sanatani voters would not support Gandhi if he did not visit the temple.
He said Gandhi had not supported Sanatan on the Ram temple or the abrogation of Article 370. Sarma said Gandhi would also not support the proposed Uniform Civil Code.
“Rahul ji, you may keep pursuing claims of vote theft, while Modi ji will keep winning people’s hearts and elections,” Sarma said.
